Israel@60
As we continue to think deeply - individually, collectively and communally - about engaging our students and families in Israel education and programming, SAJES invites your involvement in several important ways. Capitalizing on the excitement and openness of our constituents to celebrating Israel’s 60th birthday, we have a unique chance to promote increased learning about Israel and connection to
Israel’s people.

NEW!! K-2 Hands-In Poetry Experience In Honor of Yom HaAzmaut: Teachers of primary grades from Long Island are invited to participate in a Long Island-wide Israeli Children's Poetry Event. Teachers will receive an educators guide and suggestions on how their students, though hands on activities, can learn, interpret and appreciate the poetry, which willl be translated and transliterated. This is a literary and meaningful way for young students to celebrate Israel @ 60! For information please contact Susan Remick Topek.
