SAJES clearly sees Jewish education and Jewish life through the lens of 'family'. We are nationally and internationally known for our groundbreaking initiatives in Jewish Family Education. Under the guidance of Shellie Dickstein, SAJES Director of Family Education and Outreach, many of the Jewish Family Educators in our community received their training and continue professional learning at SAJES.
Effective educational leadership requires that all educators be trained to incorporate family learning into their practice. It is evident that more and more, congregations are working to create new and exciting educational visions that recognize the importance of family learning. SAJES encourages principals, teachers, clergy and lay leaders to learn new strategies necessary to integrate Family Education into their educational programs. SAJES offers consultations and site-based family education workshops that can be specially designed for your needs. For more information and for consultation, contact Shellie Dickstein.
