SAJES provides many ways to become knowledgeable about and engaged with Israel. We are committed to lifelong Israel Education and Engagement as a critical component of K’lal Yisrael and Jewish identity. At SAJES we:
Pioneer new models of Israel education and engagement such as Ki Va Moed/The Time is Now
Design educator trips to Israel that are defining events for their participants personally and professionally.
Offer informative Israel workshops and intensive study days, a comprehensive bank of curricula and other resources for educators and community members to feel a stronger connection to Israel, to understand more about Israel, and to advocate for Israel.
Spearhead our community’s participation in the Annual Salute to Israel Parade, always a highlight of our efforts in Israel Education and Engagement.
Collaborate creatively with our community partners in developing a wide variety of Israel programming and events.
Bring knowledgeable Israelis and Israeli educators to interact with our community.
Provide a forum for discussing important Israel-related issues.
