The Jewish Education and Resource Center at SAJES (JEC) provides numerous curricula and Judaic and pedagogic resources. The JEC offers professional learning opportunities throughout the year that include single workshops, seminars and mini-courses, as well as continuing semester and yearlong courses. Our professional staff facilitates offsite workshops for school faculties throughout the academic year, and we are available for consultation for your specific needs. The SAJES Community Library and Family Center is a widely used resource for the entire community. Our library houses an impressive collection of reference materials, sacred texts, CDs, games and books. Educators will find the holiday bibliographies particularly helpful for both home and classroom use. Susan Remick Topek is available for consultation for both educators and members of the community at large.

A Sense of Jewish Symbols 24/7: This one-page weekly e-newsletter highlights a different Jewish symbol in each issue. It also features information, background, text and ideas for using the five senses for introducing or reinforcing the symbol in the early childhood and primary classroom. 613:24/7: This one-page e-newsletter highlights a different mitzvah or midah (Jewish value) in each issue. It contains Hebrew vocabulary related to the weekly topic and multiple intelligence integration ideas for the early childhood and primary classroom. 613/27 was published during the 2006-2007 academic year.
