New for Advanced Teachers -
- New for Experienced Educators “Beyond Camels and Falafel: Creating Israel Curriculum with Understanding by Design.” The Jewish Education Center of Cleveland (JECC) presents a “second-tier” curriculum course for educators familiar with the Understanding by Design model. Attendees will consider how we represent Israel in North American educational settings and thinking outside-the-box about Israel education. The seminar is being held Sunday, June 29th through Wednesday July 2nd. Registration is limited to 12 -14 applicants. Learn more by clicking here.

We believe that Jewish educators have a sacred responsibility to engage their students in meaningful Jewish educational experiences that meet the wide range of individual needs and learning styles while encouraging a deep attachment to Judaism. SAJES offers an array of opportunities that support educators at every stage of their careers – with networking and conference opportunities, workshops, seminars and courses and other resources for both new and experienced classroom teachers, principals, early childhood educators, family educators and youth professionals.
